Ungrateful Elves, One Ruthless Serpent

The story of Ungrateful Elves, One Ruthless Serpent

Corin rescues three injured elves found near death in Blackhorn Park and nurses them back to health. The elves, who have no names of their own due to their feral state, are named On, Doe, and Tri by Corin based on their size. As they recover, their true elf forms emerge beneath their human disguises. Despite Corin's care, the elves are restless and demanding, often testing his patience with their unpredictable tempers and desires. Instead of gratitude, they scheme to be handed over to Corin's brother Julian, whom they find more appealing.

Julian, more experienced with women, agrees to take the three elves off Corin's hands, warning that his home is cold and unwelcoming. Corin tries to keep at least one elf with him, but the elves insist on all three staying together. Corin reflects on the burden of caring for the elves and the strain it has put on him, while Julian prepares to take them in. The story sets up a tense dynamic where Corin's kindness is met with manipulation, and he must decide how far he will go to protect himself from the ungrateful elves' schemes.
