They Chose the Fake Heiress Over Me

The story of They Chose the Fake Heiress Over Me

Claire is the true heiress of the wealthy Coleman family, switched at birth and raised apart from her biological parents. When the Colemans finally find her and bring her home, they favor Vanessa, the adopted daughter who took Claire's place, over Claire herself. Although the arranged engagement originally meant for Vanessa is given to Claire, her husband Samuel Green cruelly sabotages her ability to have children as an act of revenge tied to family grudges. Feeling betrayed and rejected, Claire attempts to end her life but wakes up back on the first day she returns to the Coleman family.

Determined not to beg for their love, Claire announces her intention to leave and study abroad, demanding Vanessa be removed from the family home. Her parents refuse, showing loyalty to Vanessa over Claire. When Vanessa violently attacks Claire, the family again sides with Vanessa, with Claire's parents even willing to take the blame to protect her. Claire realizes her biological family values Vanessa's future more than her own life, deepening her resolve to reject the family that never truly accepted her.
