The story of They Banished Me Demons Followed

Arthur Gray, known as the Last Warden, has dedicated ten years to guarding the Frostwall, a great barrier built by the five realms to keep demons from the abyss at bay. Despite his sacrifices and warnings about the demon threat, the kingdom grows distrustful, accusing him of fabricating dangers and embezzling supplies. Betrayed by the crown and his own people, Arthur is stripped of his command and cast out into the cold, his runes and defenses dismantled.

As Arthur faces exile, the demon threat he warned about begins to stir once more. The kingdom's leaders, dismissing his claims, prepare to reclaim relics and power from the northern lands, unaware of the true danger. Arthur, determined to prove his loyalty and the reality of the abyss, revisits old allies and confronts the skepticism and hostility of those who once depended on him. Arthur stands alone, haunted by the ghosts of fallen comrades and the looming threat that the realm may have underestimated.
