The Hundredth Oath

The story of The Hundredth Oath

Loki renounces his godhood to save the Kingdom of Avaloria, the last human realm. Bound by the late King Odin's final wish, he swears a hundredfold oath to support the young Queen Freya, who has just ascended the throne. Loki becomes her fiancé and regent, implementing reforms and expanding the military to unify the northern tribes and defend the realm from hostile forces. Despite his efforts, internal palace intrigue and distrust threaten their alliance.

Loki seeks peace by sparing and integrating northern tribes, including the daughter of the horse lords as an ambassador. However, Queen Freya faces pressure from her court, especially from Sir Sird, who distrusts Loki's methods and accuses him of treason. The Queen struggles to balance loyalty to Loki with her duties, while enemies within the palace plot against them. Loki has been away for three years as Warden of the North, but the Queen appears to be turning against him, influenced by those who seek to undermine his authority. The kingdom stands on the brink of internal collapse even as external threats loom, testing the strength of their hundredfold oath.
