The Forsaken War God

The story of The Forsaken War God

Raine returns to his clan after ten years, dismissed as a failure for lacking any magic and scorned by his family. His mother's recent death fuels his desire for justice. Early on, Raine demonstrates exceptional martial skill by killing a powerful dragon with only a blade, an act that earns him the recognition of a legendary war god.

Upon his return, Raine faces hostility from his family and clan members who accuse him of desertion and weakness. His father and others openly insult him, doubting his loyalty and abilities. Raine is determined to prove himself and secretly investigates possible enemy ties within his clan. When a dragon attack leaves Lady Alalia, a noblewoman, in his care, his quest becomes more personal, intertwining his fight for justice with protecting those he cares about.
