The Dying Alpha Chose Me

The story of The Dying Alpha Chose Me

Selena is a mute maid forced to impersonate Lady Vivian, the Alpha Kaelin's favored mate, to protect her family and survive within the pack mansion. Although treated as a slave and hidden away, she endures the harsh demands of Alpha Kaelin, who deeply loves Lady Vivian. Selena secretly longs to be chosen by Kaelin, enduring nightly encounters disguised as Vivian using masking tinctures, while Vivian struggles with her own fragility and the pack's scorn.

As Selena learns to anticipate Kaelin's needs and withstand his harsh treatment, she faces increasing danger and isolation, including being bound and locked away after biting Kaelin in a moment of desperation. Meanwhile, the Alpha's health is failing, and the pack prepares for his death, seeking someone to complete a spirit bond with the dying Alpha Air, Lucien, the elder brother who has never taken a mate. Selena is reluctantly released from captivity to serve Kaelin again, while her younger sister Raya becomes involved in the pack's affairs. The story follows Selena's struggle for survival and agency in a world where she is unseen and unchosen, until a dying Alpha may finally offer her a chance to be truly chosen.
