Love Me Before I Die

The story of Love Me Before I Die

Eleanor Bennett, called Ellen, has had the ability to see the day each person will die since she was a child. She first saw her grandfather's death date, then her father's, and later her mother's death during childbirth. Her youngest sister, Emily, survived but was born with an intellectual disability. Ellen's three brothers blame her for these tragedies, calling her a curse and treating her harshly. Despite their rejection, Emily remains the only family member who shows Ellen kindness and affection.

On her 18th birthday, feeling unwanted and burdened by her gift, Ellen prepares for her own death. She quietly arranges for a burial plot near her parents. Unable to afford the prime spots, she accepts a small, unused plot outside the cemetery that still allows her to see her parents' graves. Facing the end of her life, Ellen holds on to the hope of being reunited with her lost family members.
