I Gave Up the Wolf Heir for His Serpent Rival

The story of I Gave Up the Wolf Heir for His Serpent Rival

Mira, a rabbit beastkin, has long been obsessed with Kyle Grayfang, the heir of the wolves at their academy. Despite her feelings and years of devotion, Kyle chooses Seraphina, the new fox transfer student, as his mate. Instead of breaking down as everyone expects, Mira remains composed and reveals she is involved with Dorian Nightclaw, the cold and distant serpent heir, who is Kyle's rival. Mira's past is marked by despair after Kyle's rejection led to her near-drowning and abandonment by her adoptive family. However, she now has a second chance at life and chooses to reject Kyle, returning a wolf-crust bracelet to him as a symbol of moving on.

Mira's relationship with Dorian is complicated; though he appears cold and unapproachable, he secretly cares deeply for her, as shown by his emotional reaction at her funeral in her previous life. Mira finds herself stranded in the rain by Silver Moon Lake, where Dorian arrives to rescue her, showing a protective side. Despite her fears that she may have misread his feelings, Dorian's actions suggest a deeper connection. The story follows Mira's journey as she navigates her new life, turning away from the wolf heir and seeking a future with his serpent rival.
