Bound by Fire

The story of Bound by Fire

Prince Chris returns home after eight years of war to find his former lover condemned and carrying his child. Queen Maggie, the reigning queen, threatens the former lover with death by burning for witchcraft if she does not end the pregnancy that could destroy Chris's future as king. Chris is celebrated as the kingdom's greatest warrior and expected to marry a princess to secure his claim to the throne, but his heart remains with the woman he loves.

To protect Chris and their unborn child from the queen's wrath, the former lover stages a scene to make Chris believe she has been unfaithful. Meanwhile, their daughter Zoe grows up facing harsh treatment and a difficult life under Queen Maggie's oppressive rule. As Zoe's mysterious powers become harder to conceal, Chris is torn between his royal duties and the family he never knew he had, while Queen Maggie tightens her iron grip on the kingdom.
