Blind Vows

The story of Blind Vows

Isabella has waited her whole life for her wedding day. Walking down the aisle on Daniel's arm, surrounded by everyone who loves them, she believes her dream of eternal love is finally coming true. But Daniel's arm feels cold, and before the vows are spoken he tells her that Victoria is upset and needs him. For the last five years, Victoria has always come first, and now Daniel walks out of his own wedding to go to her.

Then Victoria calls. She tells Isabella she is not upset at all, that she is actually happy, and that she plans to make Daniel happy in a way Isabella never could. For Isabella, it feels like the day her father left the house all over again.

Yet Isabella refuses to let Daniel take away her belief in love. She has always dreamed of a man like a swan, one who mates for life and never leaves her side. Daniel, she now sees, is not her swan. A groom can run, she decides, but fate cannot, and fate has decided that she will be married today. It simply forgot to decide to whom.

While others tell her to give up her childish fantasies and accept being alone, Isabella feels that the one meant for her is somewhere nearby. Her search leads her toward a tycoon who has lost his sight, and a marriage neither of them expected, full of passion, power and hidden secrets.
